Say ‘Hi’ to CRM Bot (Preview)

Say ‘Hi’ to CRM Bot or better yet say ‘Find contact John Connor’ and ‘Follow up next Tuesday’. The CRM Bot allows you to Search, Create and Update your Dynamics CRM data using natural language commands like these and many more. Including Displaying, Creating, Updating and Aggregating records using the same plain language commands. You can also attach files to records by sending them from your favorite chat apps including Facebook Messenger and Skype. To get started head over to the CRM Bot Registration Page and register to use CRM Bot with your CRM organization.

CRM Bot Commands

Open an item Open <entity> named <entity name>.

Example:

Open account named Cobalt.”

Variation:

Open contact Sarah Connor

Show a count of records How many <entities> are there in CRM.

Example:

How many leads are in CRM.”

Variation:

How many opportunities were created last week.”

Search for an item Find <item> <name>.

Example:

Find contact Sarah Connor.”

Variation:

Find account named Cobalt.”

Find contact with email address sarah@cobalt.net.”

Create a new item Create <item type> <item name>.

Example:

Create lead Sarah Connor.”

Variation:

Create a new account with name Cobalt

Create a task Follow up with <item> <itemname> <date>.

Example:

Follow up with lead Sarah Connor next Tuesday
