ClickDimensions is a powerful marketing automation solution natively built inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Cobalt has been implementing ClickDimensions for our customers for the past 6 years. We integrate with other marketing automation solutions, but we’re big fans of ClickDimensions. Here’s why:

  1. We’re a Dynamics shop. They’re a Dynamics shop. ClickDimensions is the only marketing automation add-on we’ve found that’s native to Microsoft Dynamics 365, with no separate database to maintain and no integration to set up. This can make it an efficient and cost-effective option for our customers. You can check out their pricing here.
  2. Value. Since Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement is, at its core, a CRM system, it comes with some marketing functionality out of the box, but it is not meant to be a robust marketing tool; the key differentiator is that this out-of-the-box marketing functionality does not record responses (e.g. clicks, bounces, opens). Thanks to Microsoft’s vast marketplace, if Dynamics 365 doesn’t do something you need it to, there’s probably a tool out there that you can bolt on to bridge the gap. ClickDimensions does that for marketing automation. Note that Microsoft recently released Dynamics 365 for Marketing that expands the base Microsoft functionality, but we’ll save that for another post.
  3. Easy install. Once you buy the solution, ClickDimensions collects some information about your Dynamics 365 instance and sends you a solution to import into your organization. The process is simple enough that most of our customers can do it themselves in less than an hour.
  4. Pretty awesome features. We use ClickDimensions ourselves here at Cobalt. In particular, we use their Campaign Automation, Email Marketing, and Web Forms features. The result is that we can plan highly personalized campaigns and set them on auto-pilot, create professional emails and forms for our website that we can use to create and convert leads, and measure the effectiveness of our efforts.
