Helloit’s me. I was wondering if you’d like to… pay for an Order without having to log in? Anonymous order payment functionality has been added in our 3.9 release! Now your users can say “hello” from the other side (of the portal login page) and pay for their own orders (or someone else’s) while they’re at it, all without needing to log in. Someone tell Adele, we can have it all.

Why?

The fewer roadblocks to completing a payment, the better. We’ve made it easier for individuals to pay for an order without needing to find that random sticky note with the password they created five years ago. Even better, individuals can forward a link to Accounts Payable so they can pay for it without logging in—it’s on the company!

What’s Changed?

  • Previously, Orders were only able to be paid by users who had credentials to access the member portal. If a staff member or user wanted to pay for an order, they would have had to sign up/be provided a username and password before they could pay.
  • With pay without logging in functionality, users don’t need to login before they can pay for an order. We’re all about keeping it simple, for you and your staff.

How Does it Work?

  • Once an order has been created, a specific URL is linked to that order. Users and organizations can retrieve and send that public URL in an email.
    • Please note: Users still need to log in to register for classes, meetings, etc. as normal. Pay without logging in functionality is intended for the payment of orders that are pre-created.

Portal users will be given the option to send an email to any person with a link that will take the recipient to the Order payment screen. Organizations can also include the public URL in automated emails.

Email sent to a user with a direct link for payment.
The link will take a person directly to the order summary page to check out.
