Over 16,000 attendees from 140 countries gathered in Washington, DC last week for Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference. This annual event not only gathers partners with different focuses into one location but creates opportunities for partner to partner business.

This year Microsoft announced it’s FY 2015 tagline of Cloud First, Mobile First. However, we found an even more relevant take-away from this week long conference:

Dynamics CRM has gone mainstream at Microsoft

  • 40,000 customers
  • 4,250,000 users
  • 40 straight quarters of double-digit growth
  • $20,500,000 market in 2013

With CRM being the top software revenue growth of all enterprize software markets in 2013, it is predicted that by 2016, over 50% of CRM revenues will be delivered by software as a service (SaaS).

This is huge news for a company like Cobalt. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is no longer just a blip on their radar, it’s now the fastest growing type of software.crmoffice365We look forward to learning more next year at WPC 2015 in Orlando, Florida!
