Cobalt will unveil the latest addition to its data management product line at this year’s NAR Annual Conference in Orlando – The Cobalt Association Management Suite (CAMS) Real Estate Solution. Until now, REALTOR© associations were forced to pick from a very limited number of antiquated applications and were then chained to one vendor for integrations with other systems such as their multiple listing service as well as for support and system upgrades. These systems did not integrate well with other mainstream business applications and impeded adoption of mainstream technologies. Cobalt's solution is different.
Because Cobalt's product is built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 platform, it integrates natively with other Microsoft applications likely already in use today such as Exchange, Outlook, and Office. It’s easy to use interface allows an association to manage membership dues for multiple member types and to enforce members’ monetary, educational and legal requirements, including the requirements imposed by local and national bylaws. It also allows staff to manage corporate affiliates, course instructors, brokers, appraisers, vendors and advertisers.
The web portal provides for real-time posting of events, meetings and courses, year-round dues payments with prorating, online forms and applications, online store functionality to include posting products and processing purchase, secure voting during board elections, online advertising management and general content management. More importantly, the web portal is integrated with the backend database, which provides a complete history of each member.
For ultimate flexibility, the client has the option to host the system on-premise or through turn-key packages offered by Cobalt. This and the exploding community of Microsoft CRM system users and plug-ins being created by third-party vendors, is what really makes this solution the way of the future.
The National Association of REALTORS© Conference & Expo is attended by more than 20,000 real estate professionals and guests from around the world each year. This year the event is being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from November 7th through the 10th.
